01 / THE STARTING POINT

A notebook was enough to begin.

The collaboration between SAJU and Venezuelan creator Camila Cisneros began with photographs of her notebook: quick pencil sketches, organic outlines and a direction to explore. The starting point was a personal idea, still open and informal.

MILOSSI took it from there. We developed the eyewear design and proposal renders, produced the technical drawings, coordinated with the factory and followed the prototypes, samples and production. The project shows how an early sketch can become a concrete product through a complete design and development process.

02 / FROM OUTLINE TO OBJECT

An expressive shape. A precise drawing.

The proposal renders gave the idea a defined silhouette: raised outer corners, shallow dips and rounded lower edges. Technical drawings then connected that character to the lens contour, rim section, bridge, nose-pad position and hinge connections.

The drawings and workshop photographs show the same outline at different stages: a defined lens contour, an unfinished metal front and an assembled frame. Seeing them together makes the transition from image to object tangible.

03 / THE SIGNATURE DETAIL

Personality, all the way to the temple tip.

The temples carry a second point of recognition: a small monkey wearing sunglasses. Its outline is incorporated into the end of the temple, alongside an open cut-out.

The development images show the motif as separate pieces and on temple samples with different finishes. In the finished frame, the detail belongs to the construction and silhouette of the temple itself.

04 / MATERIAL IN THE HAND

From workshop samples to the finished frame.

The sample photographs make the development visible: unfinished fronts, assembled frames and different combinations of frame finish and lens colour. MILOSSI followed the samples and production with the factory, carrying the design through those stages.

The final navy frame pairs the organic outline with blue lenses. Adjustable nose pads, articulated temples and the shaped terminals complete the object while leaving the front’s distinctive line in view.

THE RESULT

A personal idea, made tangible.

Camila’s pencil lines became an organic frame with a recognisable front and a distinctive temple tip. MILOSSI connected the visual proposal with technical development, factory coordination, prototyping, samples and production. The result can be seen in the finished product and campaign photographs.
