01 / THE DESIGN

Eyewear comes first.

The project brings a familiar eyewear vocabulary into a product with electronics: recognisable silhouettes, considered proportions and a distinct expression on the face.

The translucent temples reveal the components inside. The front, hinge and temple are read together as one object, with the technology becoming part of its visual identity.

02 / IN SHENZHEN

Closer to the product.
Closer to the team.

In January 2025, Lucas Milossi travelled to Shenzhen to contribute to Latitude’s smart glasses project. Working in person created space to compare ideas, discuss the object and learn from different disciplines.

The team included people with previous experience at OPPO, DJI and Polestar. That exchange between eyewear and consumer electronics was one of the most valuable parts of the collaboration.

03 / THE DETAILS

Where everything meets.

The hinge is a visual junction between the front and the temple. Rounded transitions, defined edges and contrasting finishes give the technical parts a place within the overall design.

A translucent shell gives a glimpse of the architecture inside.

04 / EXPRESSIONS

A shared language.
Individual character.

Angular, rounded and double-bridge fronts explore different attitudes. Colour and transparency change the mood while the temples keep a recognisable family connection.

the people behind it.

For Lucas, Latitude was an opportunity to contribute his eyewear experience and learn from a team with a different perspective on product development. The result is a project he remembers with pride, and an experience that expanded his way of thinking about connected objects.
